Antivirus Exceptions for Geocortex Products

Overview:
If you are running an Antivirus application on the same server as a Geocortex product, you may want to add some exceptions to what it scans.  In some cases, the files that are created by Geocortex products can be incorrectly flagged as viruses, and quarantined, which will cause issues in the application.  

Solution:
You should be sure to exclude the following folders:

• C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics
• C:\ProgramData\Latitude Geographics
• C:\ProgramData\Geocortex
• The Geocortex Core data directory (If you installed it to a custom location)

These folders are the default locations.  If you installed Essentials to a custom location, your paths will be different.
